Description

Election survey 2002 is the eighth study conducted at general national elections (1979-2002). The survey covers the news on radio, television and the urban press, including Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter, the major tabloids, Rapport and Aktuellt.

The study is part of the research program Journalism and Democracy where the overall aim is that in a broad perspective to study Swedish journalism based on normative democratic perspective.

Purpose:

To describe, identify and analyse media's reporting of the election campaign 2002.
