SND's Scholarships for the ICPSR Summer Program
The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research – ICPSR – is a unit in the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. Each summer ICPSR offers a "Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research". The ICPSR summer program offers a wide variety of lectures and workshops divided into two four-week sessions. In addition, a number of three- to five-day workshops are offered. For more information about the summer program, see the ICPSR course descriptions.
Every year, SND awards five to ten travel scholarships for participation in the ICPSR Summer Program. The scholarship covers course fees and travel and accommodation expenses.
NB: Please note that this scholarship is only available to doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers who are active at a Swedish university or university college.
"First of all, you come home with lots of articles, code, software knowledge, and self-confidence. Second, and just as important, you’ve gotten connections to all the other doctoral students, and have had discussions with and talked to the teachers in the program."
