The work has started to create a cloud-based system for digital storage of metadata and research data in the humanities and social sciences. The project is called Europeana Cloud and SND will participate in five work packages with the main focus on analyzing the need for new research tools and services.
Europeana Cloud will run until 2015 and the total project cost is estimated to 4.75 million euro. EU will contribute with 3.8 million euro.
