Due to the fast development and spread of the novel corona virus and Covid-19, we regret to inform you that there will be no IASSIST Conference in 2020. The international conference was meant to take place on 19–22 May in Gothenburg with SND as host organisation.
—We are of course very sorry about this. The various planning committees have put a lot of work into the conference and we were looking forward to welcoming the participants to Gothenburg in May. But under the current circumstances we can't go on as we had planned. Now we have to try to resolve the situation with bookings and other arrangements, and then we will recharge and see if the conference can be held in 2021 instead, says Iris Alfredsson, Senior Advisor in SND and member of the local IASSIST 2020 committee.
The planning groups will provide additional information about refunds for participants who have already signed up for the conference.
