The data series Swedish church customs offer plenty of opportunities to study church life in Sweden since the early 1960's. The material contains data on a variety of customs and ceremonies such as weddings, christenings, funerals and Christmas traditions.
- The religious customs change over time through the influence of different sources. But there is also a high degree of stability, especially among the churches at the local level, says Anders Jarlert, director at the Lund University Church History Archive and responsible for the data collection.
